You can check your quota on $HOME (/users) and $PROJECT (/project) with the following command on the front-end system Ela (ela.cscs.ch):
/usr/local/bin/quota.ksh or simply quota which points to the previous one
Please note that on /project you have a quota on the number of files as well: this number is listed on the first line in output (N. FILE USED ON PROJECT).
Please consider archiving folders with the tar command in order to keep the number of files owned by your group below the limit.
